Today was a very fun day!!! First we started out by getting up at 8:30...yes finally a day when I could sleep in!!! Then at 9 we left for Westminster to see the Westminster Abby which is absolutely gorgeous!! When we got there we got our tickets and then headed in. When you first walk in it is awe inspiring. With the gothic look you would think that you were taking a step back in time. With the high ceilings, gold paintings and burials it’s hard not to. There are burials all over the church marble on the floor or marble statues telling when they died and who they were and what they did. After many little chapels you came to the chapel of Henry the 7th which is absolutely breath taking. In there are also spots where the knights would sit when having church and where they can still sit. Yes there are still knights in London and at the head of all of them is the Queen. After you walk out of the chapel you can walk into the Tomb of Queen Mary of Scots. This was an increasable place. Her tomb was decorated in such a beautiful way there were flowers molded from iron and painted with gold. It was incredible beautiful. After that we saw the coronation chair and the memorial to Shakespeare. Then we headed to the Chapter House which I believe to be the best part of all Westminster Abby has to offer. It was built in like the eleven hundreds!!! And it was absolutely gorgeous!!! So after that we went to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre which was really cool. After we had a little bit of a back round on the theatre which is quite interesting to know that it has been built three times. The first time they shot a cannon and it didn’t clear the roof and caught it on fire. Needless to say it burned to the ground.(: and truthfully I don’t know the other reasons so after that we went to Portobello Road(markets) and wandered there for a while then had lunch and went to Camden Market!!! Ahhhhh I could live there… I got a jacket and a present for Leland and Charles. Tomorrow on the look out for a present for Nicole and Lindz!!! Woooo…In Paris!!!! Will post tomorrow!!!

Westminster was my favorite historical spot! I loved wandering the church and looking at all the memorials. I danced a little jig when I found Poet's Corner! London loves her writers! Did you picture Romeo and Juliet on the Globe stage??? I am missing you and Mom and hope your trip continues to be fabulous. Keep writing!
