PARIS!!!! Okay so to start our day the cab has not shown up yet and were going to be late if it doesn’t come soon…ahhhhh!!!!!! Then the cab company calls to say they can’t find a cab for us and should they keep trying? Ya think?! Mrs. Houck called another company and they said 15 minutes. It’s 4:30 and we are suppose to be there in 15 minutes. We hailed a cab and we are on our way! So the good news is that we got there in time and got in line. Sitting in the train waiting for to go we worried about Mrs. Houck and Joey cause it took them a long time to get on. But they did so it was all good. Then the problem came…me and my mom had the most annoying guy behind us. Not only was it five in the morning, but he would’t shut up for the whole entire trip!!! So after a long nap and cramped legs we got to Paris and then went to exchange the money. So after getting our money we headed down stairs to the subway system to get tickets and head to The Louve. As we get on i came to the conclusion it was going to be really hard to get around on this one. But we got it right and got to the Louve around ten. After wandering around in the Louve for an hour or two, we saw the Monalisa, Venus Demilo and many others. It was really inc readable to see all the art work that was in the Museum. Then after that we decided to head out to St. Chaples and the Consari. Which i have to admit were probably my favorite things in Paris. Oh ya and we also went out to breakfast in a Cafe, it was really good.(: then after that we went to Notre Dome which was cool but i have to admit not what i was expecting.): Then we went to the place that Joey wanted to got to the whole entire trip(Paris) The Eiffel Tower. Although i don't really care about it, it was nice to just go and see it. Then after wandering around there for a long time we decided to go back well we got on the wrong train and ended up going the wrong way which sort of sucked but in the end we got where we needed to go. After we got off the subway we wandered around the city for a while had some dinner, got some souvenirs and saw the Tower lit up we decided to go back to the train to head home. Then the problem arose...it had been going on all day but this was the worst while going up through the subway you have to stick your ticket through and then you can go through, well mine had been stupid all day long and the last time it decided to drive me over the edge. While trying to get out everybody else's works except for mine so we try to do it again then we try all the other ones and yet it still wont work....I was on the verge of crying cause i would have had to go back down stairs to ask for a new ticket. But thankfully a man used his ticket and let me out so although I nearly died i am still alive. then we got on the train and came back home. What a day in pairs.

March 22, 2007
Today was a very fun day!!! First we started out by getting up at 8:30...yes finally a day when I could sleep in!!! Then at 9 we left for Westminster to see the Westminster Abby which is absolutely gorgeous!! When we got there we got our tickets and then headed in. When you first walk in it is awe inspiring. With the gothic look you would think that you were taking a step back in time. With the high ceilings, gold paintings and burials it’s hard not to. There are burials all over the church marble on the floor or marble statues telling when they died and who they were and what they did. After many little chapels you came to the chapel of Henry the 7th which is absolutely breath taking. In there are also spots where the knights would sit when having church and where they can still sit. Yes there are still knights in London and at the head of all of them is the Queen. After you walk out of the chapel you can walk into the Tomb of Queen Mary of Scots. This was an increasable place. Her tomb was decorated in such a beautiful way there were flowers molded from iron and painted with gold. It was incredible beautiful. After that we saw the coronation chair and the memorial to Shakespeare. Then we headed to the Chapter House which I believe to be the best part of all Westminster Abby has to offer. It was built in like the eleven hundreds!!! And it was absolutely gorgeous!!! So after that we went to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre which was really cool. After we had a little bit of a back round on the theatre which is quite interesting to know that it has been built three times. The first time they shot a cannon and it didn’t clear the roof and caught it on fire. Needless to say it burned to the ground.(: and truthfully I don’t know the other reasons so after that we went to Portobello Road(markets) and wandered there for a while then had lunch and went to Camden Market!!! Ahhhhh I could live there… I got a jacket and a present for Leland and Charles. Tomorrow on the look out for a present for Nicole and Lindz!!! Woooo…In Paris!!!! Will post tomorrow!!!

YAYAYA!!! Stonehenge and Bath...And Wicked!!! this will be a fun day. Okay so we got up around 7ish so that we could get to the station at 730. well it was a good thing we did cause the bus came early so we were actually right on time!! yaya so after we get on the bus we drive around picking up more and more people then finally we are on our way to Stonehenge!!!yaya as we head out we saw many things that they would consider normal but to us it was exciting..well at least to Joey.. So as we finally get near we can see Stonehenge. When we got off the bus and got there it was exstremely cold and windy. As we walked around we came to the conslucion it was cool but we were cold so we headed back to the bus. So after everybody got back on the bus we headed towards Bath. It was a very long drive but we learned some interesting info, like a whole town had to be moved caused of a toad. Yes you read it right a toad and the army protects it too..wow some people are weird. So when we finally got there we got to see the roman baths and then had time to wander by ourselves. Me and mom went to the costume museum which was really cool cause I got to try on a corset. Just so you know there really uncomfortable.(: So then after that we went and wandered around the town. Then we got back onto the bus and headed home. Then after we got home we went back to the city and got to see WICKED!!!! ahhh its so good...and that was our day.

HELLO!!!! sorry i missed that last day our internet was down. So yesterday we got up at like ten and then decided to go to St. Pauls Cathedral. As we got there it became very evident that it was going to be a very cold day. when we finally came to the refuge of the cathedral i was shocked by the size of it. As you walk into it you feel like a ant cause of its incredible size. As we walked through the front of the church you look up and see the ceiling it is breath taking. It is a beautiful mosaic that depicts many scenes from the bible. As we wandered the church we came to the back in which the ceiling is also a mosaic in which there are specks of gold on the ceiling. This makes the ceiling even more beautiful than any other i have ever scene. As we proceded out we went up a stair case in which we had to walk up 259 steps to get to the Whispering Gallery. In this gallery which is at the top of the dome you can be on one side and have another person on the other and whisper on the wall and have the other person hear it. At this point mom is absolutley exausted so I go up to the very top in which in total I had to walk 530 steps!!! It was a very good work out I have to admit.(: After going up all the way and getting some very good shots of the city I had to go all the way back down. As we headed back down we decided to go into the crypt. The crypt is under everything(like a basement nicole) (: and down there are many barial spots of famous pepole like Churchill and the Duke of Wellington. After exploring this for a while we met up with Mrs. Houck and Joey and left the Cathedral. After the cathedral we went to the Tower of London which is pretty cool. But before we did this we went to go get lunch!!!YES FOOD!!!(nicole (:) So in the Tower of London there are many things that were interesting. There were some armor, guns and jewels. Really there was what ever you wanted to see. But after the Jewels(the Crown Jewels may i add) me and mom went back to the apartment cause i felt sort of sick. So after a long nap we all got ready to go to the plays. Me, Joey, and Mom went to Spamolotte while Mrs. Houck went to Les Mis. So that was yesterday. Hope your having fun reading our blog.

our second day...
okay so on our second day we got up and went to war cabinets where Churchill had made that decisions of what to do in war world two. as we got there it was very cold and windy in the morning,so it was really good to get inside from the craziness of it all. So inside we were given little personal tour guide. It showed all where the people slept and got the mail-calls on what to do. It was amazing to see how after the war they just got up and left it there without even looking back. With the restoration of the cabinets it was very cool to see all the things that they were able to find the things that made it look exactly like it would have. So after the War Cabinets we went to the banqueting hall which was another palace in London it all burned down except the banqueting hall so it was very cool to see all the architecture on the ceiling. After that we went to the train and may i add we accidentally missed two trains and then left to Windsors castle. After a ride on many trains and almost missing a few we finally got on the right on. After a thirty minuet train ride we got to the castle which was amazing!!!! i wish i could have lived there. It is a very large castle(like really large)....so after got off the train we went to the castle and wandered around. the first stop in the castle was the cathedral which was incredible!!!(amazing acoustics) after wandering around in there for maybe thirty minuets we went to Queen Mary's doll collection which i defiantly wish i could have had her doll collection. Then we went to the state apartments which we enormous!!!! with all the rooms that were there it is amazing that we didn't get lost!!!(: so many of the rooms were covered in gold and velvets and amazing cloths. After wandering around in the castle for almost three hours we decided to go back..(: on the way out we stopped at the gift shop and joey got little men and i got a pair of gorgeous earrings!!! so we waited for the train and then when we got back we found a place to eat and ate at a very good steak house then me and mom went to Les Miserables. Which was absolutely incredible!!!! while joey and Mrs. Houck went bowling. After watching an amazing play we went back to the apartment and now we are going to be going to bed...Yeah!!!!

Okay so we got into London around 5:30 this morning and we went through customs and everything then we got tickets and went on the tube...(subway). It is sooo much better than the one in New York. Then we got to the apartment around 8:00 in the morning I went and took a shower while everyone else got everything unpacked... and may I mention it is soooo annoying caring around everything in a big city...okay but that was besides the point so were all ready and we decide to go to the changing of the horse guards...well that was boring but we did get to see Big Ben and Parliament. oh ya and Churchill.(not a church on a hill a statue of a person)(: then we went to the tube again and went to Hampton court and saw King Henry the 8ths palace it was really cool and really big. then we wandered around outside in the gardens and then went to the tea room. where we all ate something except for Joey...): but then we went to the gift shop and Joey got some stuff then we got back on the train and headed home. And that was our first day in London!!!! yayaya

New York - we made it with no delays! It's cold, snowy and our feet are wet from all the melting snow. Shopping on Canal Street (notice the sunglasses), New York pizza and building a snowman for the 1st time. Although a sad snowman:( JFK was crowded with insane lines, but we got on our plane and tried to sleep.
